Cool Snowboard Suits

Hey can anyone out there recommend a cool/unique jacket and pant combo? I like the grenade ub2 style but was wondering if there is anything better out there. I just don't want to be wearing a jacket that everyone else on the mountain has. Thanks for your help!

So, you want to know about some outerwear that's really cool and everyone will like but no-one else will buy. Hm. Yeah, that'll happen.

Two ways to achieve this:

1) Make your own clothing.
2) Find something super expensive that no-one else will be able to afford.

Not looking for sarcastic remarks. If you don't have anything informative then don't waste your time posting. There are jackets out there less common than others but the important part of this thread was to find a cool snowsuit.

As above.
I had an old ex German Army Flektarn pattern parka in my wardrobe, in good condition. Added a couple of decent pit zips, converted a 1 laundry bag into a pair of goggle/glove pockets, added 2 internal zip pockets for wallet/keys and tunes and washed it all in nikwax waterproofing. With the internal liner added it'll do a couple of trips and I'll look pretty unique.... as long as I avoid Germany and Austria.

please stop snowboarding. worry about having fun or nailing tricks and progressing. dont worry if anyone has your jacket or not. buy clothes that fit your condition needs not what color it is.

No one is ever looking for sarcasm. If sarcasm was by invitation only, it wouldn't exist. However, the basic message is relevant. I don't think you thought the question through as well as you could have. Things that everyone likes become common. Things that aren't common are that way for a reason -- often because they suck. To get something that's desireable but uncommon, you need some kind of complicating factor -- either price, or unavailability. There's a saying in I.T. : You can have it cheap, you can have it fast, you can have it right. Pick any two.

Well, you're faced with a similar decision. You can have it cool, you can have it easily, you can have it rare. Pick any two. No sarcasm, just an unfortunate reality.

Buy a full suit (i.e. one piece or onesie) instead of a matching jacket/pant combo

I own one that I wear for powder days and get a lot of possitive comments when on the hill since you just don't see them very often. I thik some people give me wierd looks because they think it looks stupid, but most people like it.

I don't really care because I wear it for the functionality and ability to prevent snow from going up my jacket or down my pants when I'm playing in the deep stuff. But if you are looking to be a little different and add some extra steez, it is also very good for that.

The only issue I have is that it's really warm and I alway get hot when I ride. I can only wear it if the temps are a little lower.

Here's the one I got a couple of years ago on clearance.....

LOL! It would get old really fast, but a onesie made up like a penguin suit would be great.
