What would you buy?

Hey chaps!
I'm somewhat of a newbie, fresh to the slopes and just got kitted out with decent entry stuff - raiden strikes on a k2 2011 brigade, northwave nitro SL boots. Ive skated most of my life and done wakeboarding as well, along with motocross most recently, so now that ive moved to vancouver, looking forward to "the next evolution"!

Next up is outerwear.

Im looking for something decent to last the season, i like Fox and DC, and especially monochromatic designs - simple, not too outrageous. Id like to come off with around $200 dropped on the top and bottoms, but would prefer quality than nasties, if such things exist. 5000g/K everyone says is a good starting point but i would like to go a bit better if it means it will last better and make the ride more bearable/comfortable.

What would you recommend? Also if you have something, where can i buy it please (pref online would be great!) - or if any large shops you suggest I hit - I don't know the city and dont wanna spend weeks looking for stuff!

Thanks everyone!!!

Would help quite a bit to know where you are/conditions you are most likely to be riding in. I have found Sessions stuff to hold up well and be good value, plus you can find stuff that doesn't make you look like a toddler from the late 80s.
