Default ThirtyTwo Jackets worth the money?

I'm looking at the ThirtyTwo Shell Jacket Lowdown, Black 2012, and it's worth $160. I'm switching from insulated to shell jackets, and I'm wondering if the company ThirtyTwo make good jackets? Have you had one? Tell me what you think. If there's another company you like, tell me.

Here's a picture of the jacket.

I think for the most part most main stream suppliers make decent jackets. $160 for a new 2012 jacket is probably on the more basic side of the scale so as long as you're not expecting a jacket full of goodies you'l be fine. I've ridden in some pretty basic jackets and haven't had any major problems.

I have the "old" version of the jacket you linked too and i'am really loving it.. Use it all the time super comfy and it feels light wearing it..

Seems durable so far ^^..

Got it in Blue/white

/Cheers

This jacket is a technical shell. Or I'm almost positive it is.

I think he might be referring to something with a little higher waterproof and brethability rating(my bad if you're not). 8,000mm Waterproof
5,000g Breathability is pretty basic.
