Burton Customer Service (!)

I lost the cord for my R.E.D. Trace Audio helmet (and it's a weird-sized jack, so a normal 3.5mm won't work.) I emailed Burton customer service (info@burton.com)and some guy named Dennis F. responded to me within minutes. At no charge, they mailed me a new one - and it took 2 days to arrive. Free.

When I've encountered nasty service in the past, I've been quick to tell people about it (it's a pet peeve of mine for some reason), so I thought it should be mentioned that such a big company responded in such a favorable way. I offered to pay for the cable and they refused. Remarkable.

I've had good customer service with them as well.

I bought a pair of Cartel's off of Craigslist a few years back and one of the ratchets was pretty rusty.

Went into the local shop, they called Burton. Gets off the phone and says, new buckle will be here in a couple days, no charge.

Pretty good if you ask me.
