Burton Customer Service (!)
I lost the cord for my R.E.D. Trace Audio helmet (and it's a weird-sized jack, so a normal 3.5mm won't work.) I emailed Burton customer service (email@example.com)and some guy named Dennis F. responded to me within minutes. At no charge, they mailed me a new one - and it took 2 days to arrive. Free.
When I've encountered nasty service in the past, I've been quick to tell people about it (it's a pet peeve of mine for some reason), so I thought it should be mentioned that such a big company responded in such a favorable way. I offered to pay for the cable and they refused. Remarkable.
