Uncharted territory - bluebird conditions?
Alright.... so due to unforeseen circumstances (i.e. having a girlfriend), I am planning a day trip to Cataloochee ( cry ) to ride my snowboard down their bunny hill with her because she wants to learn.
I have never ridden anywhere where the temperature got above 34º even on the hottest days. The predicted high for Cataloochee next week is like 50ºF!
I have absolutely no idea how to dress for this kind of weather. UA coldgear base layers seem like overkill. Should I even bother with my 15K shells or just buy a polyester hoodie (or maybe even just a long sleeve shirt)? Should I bother with goggles or just wear sunglasses?
I expect a combination of ice and melted slush. Might be a good opportunity to field test a used rock-board i got off flea-bay (2010 flow infinite)
