Default Your opinion...please!

i need new Jacket and Pants, incredibly bad, mine are 8+ yrs old now. I have narrowed it down to these choices:

JACKETS
Volcom Gigi Ruf Gigi Rüf “T.D.S” Jacket | Volcom | Snow 2011/12

Quicksilver T Rice Travis Rice Gore-Tex Jacket - QUIKSILVER

Quicksilver Last Mission Last Mission 5K Shell Jacket - QUIKSILVER

PANTS
Thirty-Two Alloy Charcoal Heather « Alloy « Pants « Mens « Fall 2011 « Outerwear « ThirtyTwo, Rider Driven Snowboarding

Quicksilver T Rice Travis Rice Gore-Tex Pant - QUIKSILVER

I'd appreciate your recommendations. Especially if you own one of these items! Thank you in advance.

I personally would go with the thirty two pants and last mission jacket. That's just me. If you haven't already go check out dogfunk.com or backcountry.com..both usually have killer deals on all gear.

GIGI JACKET!!!!!!!

Dude, cannot stress enough how amazing the Volcom stuff is. They kinda flew under the radar to me until I got the Accelerate jacket. Sooooo warm and literally everything you can ask from a jacket. The pockets are absolutely massive. Avi whistle and the Gigi has the face tech on it. Never have to stress about forgetting a ninja mask.

The Quiksilver T. Rice jacket and pants look fucking awesome and Gore-tex is amazingly durable/ functional. If you are able to afford the T. Rice gear then I'd say go for it you won't regret it. Quiksilver makes some nice gear, and I'm rocking the new Quiksilver Renegade jacket which is sweet because the T. Rice stuff is slightly more than I wanted to spend. I would definitely look into Quiksilver gear first if I was you.

Yes I am leaning towards the Gigi Jacket just because the tech in that coat, T.D.S. by Volcom, seems amazing. And for pants I am leaning towards the 32's. Still open to opinions and advice tho.

The 32 is the best choice between the two. The T.D.S is a really cool system. Good jacket, only negative about that jacket is that it's not Goretex. But, that coat is good enough to not have it. Nothing to worry about on that coat.

I have never owned anything Gore-tex, so I am clueless as to "how Great" it is. Everything I hear is good though.
