k2 Rant Helmet?

Anyon using a K2 Rant helmet? I'm curious if it makes your goggles fog up because there's no venting on top.

Rant Pro Helmet | Ski Helmets | K2 Skis 2011-12

I had a cheapo Pro-Tec a long while back and I spent the day with foggy goggles. The tech on the Rant says it has the passive venting, so I'm thinking that will eliminate the foggy goggle problem.

anyone have any experience?

should I just get the phase? both fit my head really well, but i like how the Rant looks with the brim.

Phase Helmet | Ski Helmets | K2 Skis 2011-12

Hoping to buy something this week since I hit my head pretty fierce the other day in my Bern. It happened when I caught an edge but it was surprisingly hard. my head took most of the impact. My Bern doesn't appear to have any cracks, but i prefer not taking any chances with my dome. It's much harder to replace.

I appreciate any input anyone has. even thoughts on other non-vented helmets would be appreciated.

They make shitty helmets based on what? Every k2 helmet I've tried on has fit my head well.

However, i did decide against the rant. While it foes have the venting, its pretty minimal. Im leaning towards the diversion helmet. Pretty similar in style to the rant, but much more venting. Of course, the price is double the rant so it may not happen.

Im curious why you think they make bad helmets though. If you've got multiple sources that report the same I'd love to see it.

ended up ordering the Phase Pro in Lime. just didn't want to take a chance on the venting.

Any helmet that fits you well is a good helmet. K2's helmets are fine if they fit you well. And venting is a plus not a minus.
