Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and happy to be. I hope you guys will be able to help me with my decisions. I searched a few hours yesterday to find my answer and was unable to find it.
So I have 2 choice of jacket. First one is burton andover 2012, the price is about 270$ tax in. The second one is burton ak cyclic 2011, the price is about 280 tax in. So here, i'm not able to choose between the both. The andover is fully black a nice look. The cyclic is all black except the zipper is pale yellow beige. I already have the snow pant from burton, ak stagger, i think 2009-2010 i don't know exactly. Please tell me what you guys think and why. I hope you will help me. Thank you already for your answers. -Gabriel |

Comparing the price to my opportunities, i would say that it's a nice price.
If the stagger pant features the jacket to pant interface, it will match any Burton jacket. And as mentioned before, definitely go for the AK jacket, super collection right there. |

The jacket will not zip to the pants. Button lost a legal/patent battle with volcom over the zipper interface, their newer jackets and pants don't zip together. I think this changed in 2010-2011. Too bad, it's a great feature. However, definitely get the ak jacket, goretex is worth it.

I can't say my cheap TWC "Such a deal" jacket from Burton didn't work yesterday - alot of snow mixed in with some rain - and not even the outer shell felt like it absorbed any of the moisture.
I paid ~150 USD for it incl. shipping and handling over here in Sweden, and can just assume it'd be less over there. Can't say I feel the need to go all out for goretex clothing after this experience. Just saying...Rgds /J |
