Decent price for pants/jacket? - Snowboarding Forum

Got 6 day passes for a closeby mountain for Christmas and I already have a board and all the important stuff but what I don't have are a decent pair of pants and a jacket.. I don't have all that much to spend so I'm kinda looking for deals but since I haven't been boarding that long, I don't really know all that much about shopping for this sort of stuff ^^

Those pants are on sale on another site for $130. Is that a pretty good price for them? Does arson even make good gear?

Basically, I'm just curious how much you guys would spend on these things if you don't have all that much to spend. I'm hoping to spend $300 for both but don't know if that's possible. Sucks all the best deals are on american sites with like $40 shipping ><

If you have a good shopping center that has some good snowboarding/clothing stores go check them out if they have any sales on still. My cousin just picked up a really nice jacket/pants for about $350

Unfortunately I live in a tiny ass town (30,000 people) and the only stores here are either REALLY pricy or only have dc pants for $150 which apparently aren't very good. And I only have 'til tomorrow to buy those pants if I want em >< I don't know if I should or not D: Thanks for tip though!

I should have bought clearance stuff at those stores last year. There was pants and jackets for $80 each but I had just bought some cheap ones from a work clothing store so I decided not to spend more. Definitely regret that!

Ebay man as far as clothing goes you cannot beat ebay prices , even if some of it is lightly used.

Thanks for the replies guys, ended up getting some pants from one of the expensive places but they had 40% off a bunch of stuff for boxing week sales (canadian black friday type thing.) I don't even know if they're any good but they'll be better than what I had and I got em for $110, Loft 5 Pocket Pant | Volcom | Snow 2011/12
Also ordered a jacket which I know nothing about from seshday. got this 686 Mannual Anthem Insulated Jacket - Gunmetal Herringbone Denim for $50 so I figure that's a good deal even if it's not the best jacket. They'll both do much better than what I was using last season ^^ Now if you'd like, you can tell me if I wasted my money
