Reduced FOV

Hey Guys,

I dont know if it's my lack of experience, but i feel that with the goggles on, I have a reduced Field of Vision, and i have a hard time of seeing people coming out of the corner of my eye. I dont know if its the googles I own, or this is just the result of wearing goggles.
Any insight would be cool!

What kind of goggles do you own?

I'm not a goggle expert in any way, but it could be the type you're wearing. I have Smith I/OSs and the FOV is super. It's a spherical series which seems to help the peripheral.

First off what kind of goggles do you have? This can and will play a huge roll on your FOV.

If you like wearing goggles but hate having restricted vision go out and try on some goggles with spherical lenses (Electric EG2, Smith I/O, POC Lobes) which allow for a greater FOV.

I personally have a set of the Smith I/O and they are incredible. The price of 160 usually throws people off, but they come with TWO different lenses which is easily worth the money.

Yeah, a lot of goggles have poor peripheral vision. Smith I/O, Dragon APX, Electric EG2, and Von Zipper Fishbowls are a few goggles out there with excellent peripheral vision.
