Crappy Anon lenses. - Snowboarding Forum

I've had a pair of Anon Comrades for about a month now.. and just after a week or two the mirrored lens looked like it was starting to crackle faintly in the center.. then I leave it in the case and put it in my backpack (it was damp from snow) and now after just a month it looks like the case has actually rubbed off the mirror tint along the whole middle of the lens and its crackled over the rest!?

Are Anon lenses just shit? Has this happened to anyone else?

I have Anon goggles with mirror lenses. I haven't had any problems with mine and I'm kind of rough on them. Try giving them a call and explaining what's happening. If you haven't had them long they should still be under warranty. I've had some expensive Oakley sun glasses crackle on me. Could just be a defect.

I have a set of Anons too, but not mirror finish (amber). I've had them for about 4 or 5 years and haven't had one complaint with them. Maybe you just got a bum set

I recently had to replace my Anon as well. Started getting wind in the top corner of the goggle and the lenses scratched so easily they were tough to use. I just picked up a pair of Electric EGB2s and I am very happy with them, super comfortable and a huge range of vision.

I've had the Hawkeyes with Gold Chrome lense for 2 years now... no problems and I don't think I even have a single scratch on them.

anon's are garbage... they claim that their dual lense tech provides superior anti fogging.. you bail once headfirst into snow and they'll start fogging from in between the lenses...

thanks guys... yeah I have a smaller pair of Anon's that fog in between the lens everytime. Now this shitty lens on the comrades.. they look completely terrible yet I haven't scratched them once. I'll have to upload a photo later on.

I'm definitely completely done with Anon's
