was going back and forth between the contour 1080 and go pro hero (dont have the money for a hero2 and they look dumb as shit when wearing them) part of my desicions on the contour was the price got one for 100 plus you knows its a good camera when our troops in Afghanistan are using them

Yestarday I had my contour and a packet of sweet and sour sauce in my pocket on the lift, (for eating fries on the chair) then I fell and now my contour is all sticky and the slide is stiff. Shit sucks.

^^^ Cool vid
I thought the contour was waterproof to a few meters? If it's sticky just wash it!?! I'd buy a contour right now but I have the feeling my vids would look more like this, and a lot less like the vid above. http://youtu.be/tI1bi1KfOmw Last edited by poutanen; 02-04-2012 at 12:29 AM. |

if i had the money id buy a hero 2 (its the best on the market no doubt and not as big as it used to be) but i dont, plus the contour is about the about the same video quality as the original hero also the contour mounting system works better for mounting on my compound bow shotgun kayak etc
