So, after 7 years of sportin' the same cheapo pants that were an emergency purchase after a pair of fancy Burtons blew out (literally), I need a new pair of pants. I've read tons of reviews on different brands but haven't seen anything on these
Klim bibs. On paper, they seem great: Gore tex, knee pads (my knees are shot from getting hit by a car), cordura patches in high wear areas, etc. Sooooo, anyone have any experience or other possible choices? I want something water and bomb proof.
FWIW, I'm an intermediate boarder that's pushing my abilities on steeper blacks and some doubles. It's this learning curve that got me concerned about the durability of most of the gear available. I don't necessarily need bibs, but I have a tendency to shovel snow on anything over 40% grade (maybe I should just get better

). Also, I have little kids that ski and tend to spend some time sitting or kneeling helping them out.
Thanks in advance!
