Mueller Sports HPH, waterproof hoodies - Snowboarding Forum

So we got in a high performance hoodie from mueller yesterday. I got it for my son because he boards too much and goes through clothes like mad.... Figured I would give his and my first impressions....

His first thoughts opening the box were....." Sweet hoodie!! I don't think I can shred this one like my Burton or volcom. Where's the pit zippers!?!?"

My first impression of it was that it seemed to be super durable, I'm not really sure of the details in manufacturing but it feels like freackin Kevlar.

We both checked it out... They don't have one my size from what I saw, I need a 54" chest. My son is 12 and wears a adult lg usually. 5'4" 140lbs. The adult medium fit him well. After wearing it all day boarding today he said he wished it was a lg because it isn't too stretchy when he is taking it off.

He was very surprised today that he did not get wet at all, except from his sweat. Temps started at 25 but it kept him warm, It got up to about 55 with a cool breeze at 2pm which is when we left... He had no issues wearing it all day....

The hood is big enough to slide over his helmet on windy days, the pockets are deep and the 3 it has are very big with plenty of space plus an mp3 hole. I dontthink it had a separate pouch for the player which would be nice... If it does we missed it.

I will post up a video with the hoodie in use later so you can see it. The red is super freaking red so I'm sure the green is fn green.... This is a good thing in my book......

Here is the video. Matt was riding around with me kinda chillin today while I get my leg working right again without too much pain. 10 weeks out from surgery and I think I am doing good. My wife is only at the very end cause she cant keep up with us. Im in blue and black, matthew is in red and black with the mueller hoodie on. We were at Wolf Creek in So Colorado
