Lamps Veteran Member Join Date: Sep 2011 Posts: 633 Blog Entries: 5	traversing flats with ski poles hi, I am going the vallee blanche next weekend in chamonix and it was recommended that snowboarders have telescoping ski poles in thier pack for the flats any advice - I was going to buy a pair of collapsible poles about the length that I would use for skiing. a pair as opposed to one thx in advance for any advice about this or the vallee blanche
