I have decided it is about time to retire my 5 year old oxide jacket, in the last few years I have tried on a number of jackets and the ones that always seem to fit me best are the bonfire jackets.
So you are probably thinking, "so go buy a bonfire jacket", well I would but here is the thing, sofar I have not found a bonfire jacket that has everything I want in it. maybe it is out there but I have just not come across it yet. I need a powder skirt and really like to have the elastic cuffs in the arms. must be an insulated jacket and preferably long. I like the bonfire "long fit" jackets but it seems that a lot of them are shell jackets. when I sit on the snow I like to have the jacket under me so I dont freeze my ass off waiting for the slower portions of my friends when on the mountains. any suggestions? |

Dont like lots of layers, id rather wear by base layer and a long sleeve shirt and the jacket rather than a lot of layers under a shell. Not to mention im a powder guy, steep and deep and 0F is "getting a little cold" so when it hits -20 I can wear a few layers under an insulated jacket rather than 20 under a shell

Get a TDS (Thermal Defense System, just a fancy name for their own tech) setup from Volcom, its supposed to direct heat where you need it in your core and keep you warm standing around waiting for your friends also ziptech fucking owns.

i have tried on a lot of bon fire jackets and really liked the fit however the longer jackets often dont come with wrist gaiters or pow skirts from them.
Most companies make a long fitting jacket, dogfunk has the best site search that i have found. Oakley Originate Long Jacket - Men's from Dogfunk.com O'Neill Seb Toots Premium Jacket - Men's from Dogfunk.com Ride Hawthorne Insulated Jacket - Men's from Dogfunk.com Burton GMP 2L Kohlman Insulated Jacket - Men's from Dogfunk.com Ride Capitol Down Jacket | evo outlet Ride Laurelhurst Jacket | evo outlet i have a nike gortex shell and a airblaster parker jacket that both have long fits. DC makes long fitting jackets as well you just have to do a little bit of looking. |
