Anyone know of any goretex pants that come in tall sizes? Closest I've found so far is Arcteryx Sabres but I haven't found anywhere that has stock on them. I checked Burton but looks like they don't make the ak stuff in tall.

Burton makes a tall version of their cargo pant, but only in burlap/white/black I think. Good length, nice fit. I'm 6'4, ~205, 36' inseam.
EDIT: Sorry, thought they were Goretex, but apparently not. Last edited by mikez; 10-19-2012 at 09:07 AM. |

the Sabre is pretty much about the best pant you can buy...
US outdoor store has a bunch of new Arc' - can't say for sure if they have longs. you can call/email Arc'Teryx and ask them which dealers might have em.

The main prob I seem to be running into is when a retailer carries the tall they only do it for sizes Large+ for the bigger guys or occasionally Med+. What I'm looking for is Small & Tall to fit my waist. Either that or I need to start drinking more beer and add an extra insulation base layer.

it's 30 or 31 (waist) depending on the brand. If I go with a regular medium I end up feeling like the legs are too short and the pants are all bunched up around the waist which isn't great. I always have this issue when I buy pants... it's a pain finding a good fit. For jeans I usually end up with a 30/34 or something close to that.
