So I just picked up the 686 Hydra jacket for super cheap, last years model, but I am cool with that. I phoned 686 and asked if anything changed and they said colour, so why pay top for this years model. Anyways, does anyone have an experience with the pants to jacket system? I want to know if I will be use the jacket system to non-686 pants? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I'm rocking a plexus "Pinnacle" shell from a couple years back (paid $99, free ship - love it). The powder skirt connection is the same 3-loop type found on most brands of snow pants...that actually have skirt attachments (sessions do not). I just went ahead and bought the plexus Plasma pants...because they're good waterproof pants (and very light).
btw, I tried on this years hydra jacket and found it binding in my shoulders when I raised my arms. Seems the tailored look is getting a little out of hand...hopefully, last years wasn't so tight and/or fits you without restriction. Last edited by extra0; 10-26-2012 at 12:11 AM. |
