3/4 length Park jacket used for All Mtn riding

Hi all, does anyone prefer the longer length jackets when riding all mountain?

I dont stand around waiting much but would think the addditional coverage length keeps you warmer on the lift especially when in crummy weather. What are other benefits? How about drawbacks- does it get in the way and become more wind resistant? when attacking moguls, bombing down, or tree runs?

Thanks!

any opinions?

Can't stand longer jackets, or jackets with high collars for that matter. I ride pants with a bib instead (like coveralls) for extra warmth...

I like longer jackets, not like gangster long, but more of a loose fit.
I feel less constricted when im riding, hopefully that translates into better style.

I bought a longer jacket this year. I'm usually cold, so hopefully it works!

I personally don't see the point of longer jackets for warmth.

Wouldn't it be a lot better to just buy better baselayers/mid-layer fleeces if you're cold?

I ride with a long jacket but im also very tall. Im sure that it won't interfer with riding unless it was really tight around your legs but i don't think any are.

Most brands have a long version and i have a nike jacket that is the same length as my long jacket so you could try those as well.
