Spy Platoon? Zeal Level?
ANOTHER goggle thread I know. Ok so I am in the market for some goggles (yes oversized, yes lots of peripheral). I've seen the same old recommendations and opinions on the Electric EG2s and Von Zipper Fishbowls. While I have no problem with either of these goggles, I have heard little to nothing about the Zeal Levels or Spy Platoons. I like some of the colorways that are available for the Platoons and the bonus lense deal is great. Any thoughts from anyone who has used one or more of these pairs of goggles?
I have the Platoons in both the Herschel and Occult colorways. That should tell you how great the styling and quality of the Platoons really are, that it's worth buying again.
Probably the only oversized goggle that I've tried that fits my Asian face. Smith IO doesnt fit, EG2s DEFINITELY don't fit, same with VZ Fishbowl.
Free low light (NIGHT!!) lens with a VLT of 86%... it's pretty damn close to a clear lens that has a VLT of 96% i think, so no need to buy a low light for ~$40
Easy to replace lenses. Well at least popping them out is easy. Putting a new one in takes a fair bit of balancing which sides of the frame to attach first.
Collab editions are pricey ($160-180).
For me, the fitted oversized vision+free night lens is what sold me on the Spy Platoons.
