Waterproof Tag/label???

I have a coat and am wondering if it is waterproof.

Is there a tag that should be on there listing the WP and the rating???
I looked and no tag with that info, so obviously I was wondering if coats even have a tag stating it or if it just on the price tag info packet when you 1st buy the coat.
