G-Form pads
 

Anyone use stuff like this? I'm seriously considering getting a set of their knee pads but I'm worried if there have been issues with it getting in the way of the top of the boot.

I did this review http://www.snowboardingforum.com/equ...knee-pads.html last year. Never had an issue with them touching my boot tops. I am 6ft and even if you are shorter the part that may overlap is thin spandex. You can also use the elbow pads on your knees and vice versa, only difference is the lenghts really.

They're just the right size for the padding to end at the top of the boot. Hard shell with padding underneath. Shell is removable. I wear them all day and forget they're on.

Rad. Thanks. I've known about these from longboarding, but due to a series of shitty crashes I've started to seriously consider these for when I'm snowboarding. It's good to know though that I can switch the elbow pads around and wear them on my knees too. I'm not worried about the spandex, that part is thin enough that I probably won't know it's touching my boot.
