The gloves I have now are Dakine but they get soaked very quickly if its wet on the mountain. I want a glove that will be waterproof (even during rain and slush days) but that is not too bulky and won't be too hot on 45F degree days. A google wipe and nose wipe would be great too if that's not asking for too much

At 45 degrees I usually just wear a pair of my spring Dakine gloves, probably not to different than what you have. What is the issue with why they are getting so wet so quickly? Never rode in your area in that temperature, so maybe snow is melting quicker at that time?

also am interested in some replies.. rode at bear this weekend and it was 40 and raining on us. want something thin, i hate gloves i cant do anything with, and has to be completely waterproof

Get gloves with Goretex inserts. My Dakine Bronco GT have served me well as my warm weather gloves for several season now... both in the spring snow here in Lake Tahoe and even summer slush at Timberline in Mt.Hood and have kept my hands nice and dry. Has a nose wipe.

Regular neoprene pipe glove kind of suck as they get wet almost immediately.

Pipe gloves. That's really the only option. It's either warm and bulky or slim and cold.

Get an under glove/mitten with a gore liner. Pow, Dakine, etc...

lol I was riding Bear Mountain last weekend too This is actually what made me realize that I need a better glove. Really wish they would open more runs at Bear, or at least re-open Snow Summit..

I saw Bronco reviews on Dogfunk and everyone complained that the liner wasnt sewn into the shell, making them sort of separate when you take them off. Has this been a problem for you?

I didn't have this issue with my pair of Dakine Bronco GTs... some of the other reviewers on Dogfunk also seemed to not have issues with the most recent version. Maybe it was an issue with a few of the gloves?

I consider buying from Dogfunk pretty safe since you can warranty return it if there is an issue.

When you truly need to stay dry, and forget the 5k/10k/whatever "k" please shit. Go with something GoreTex, eVent, Conduit, etc.

Dakine Vista is goretex and dakine nova has Hipora insert. Don't know if it would be too hot though.
