Default Good Value Goretex Mitts?

Hey Guys,

Just ordered these On Sale Burton Gore-Tex Mittens True Black up to 40% off since gore-tex mitts for $48 with free shipping seemed like a pretty nice deal.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with them in cold conditions or an opinion on them, wether there are better deals out there?

I have a habit of playing with snow and my hands really feel the cold so i need something warm and bloody waterproof on as sensible a budget as i can muster.

Thanks

I have a pair of them and they are great. I've never had cold hands with them, covering riding conditions down into the single digit temperatures. For spring/warm riding, I just do not use the liners or go with pipe gloves. I've also had zero issues with durability, no tears or blown seams, no wear-thrus, etc.

Really good glove and wish I'd picked mine up at this price.

Pretty much exactly ditto. I have had plenty of random burton gear fall apart (accessory type shit mind you)...headphones that suck, red helms are meh, got a pair of socks that really suck compared to a decent pair, the glove liners fall apart and are hard to find under $20 to replace.

These mitts have been bomber now for 2 years going on their third, pretty much still look like new. fwiw I've switched to pipe gloves when it isn't snowing or close to 30 degrees out so my mitts don't get as much use.
