Hey guys,
Can a Dakine low roller be folded or compacted? Like a rolled up towel, at last for most of the body, excluding the base with wheels. I'm shipping a Dakine low roller to me in Singapore. Actual weight 5kg, chargeable volumetric weight 21kg! That's a charge of US$140 to ship by comgateway! So far I have seen pictures that show the bag bended 90 degrees no problem. I am wondering if anyone tried to roll it up. |

I also live in Singapore but buy most of my gear in Hong Kong (except for hard goods which are really expensive).
There are a couple of shops in Hong Kong that carry Dakine bags at reasonable prices. Still more expensive than the US, but I think it will be cheaper than shipping internationally. What size bag are you looking for? I have a couple of extra boardbags. |

Hiya SGboarder. Great to hear from another that lives in Singapore.
I didn't know Hong Kong have shops that sells snowboarding gear. I'll get my stuff from there next time. My boardbag size is 165cm. But unfortunately for me, I have already bought my bag from Amazon and shipped via comgateway. ![]() Back to the Hong Kong shops, do they have any websites or locations I can go to next time I'm in Hong Kong? |

Hm, I have a spare 163 Dakine Tour and a 170 K2 bag that I might let go, but both do not have wheels (much better, I think). Actually, I will go to US in a few weeks so maybe can do an exchange. PM me if you are interested.
For buying stuff in Hong Kong, I normally go to Island Wake or X-Game in Causeway Bay. Not sure about websites. |

Can't roll it, but it folds in half just fine. I have stored mine like that in the past and it's fine. The plastic is only towards the botton, not along the entire length.
