My old burton gloves are literally falling apart, I need a new pair REAL bad.
I figured it'd make sense to go with a pair that has the best of both worlds.
So what are my options for durable good quality gloves? I'm particularly interested in warm gloves suited for really cold weather, that come with inner goves made for not-so-cold temperatures...
I Just ordered those a few days ago and haven't got them yet and I have a question. For these gloves you would Just wear the liner right and not take out the liner and wear the outer part like most gloves
mehhh, there are better options than Candygrind if what you want is warmth and durability - especially for the money.
you honestly can get any glove that looks decently built and just wear liners underneath. Under Armor makes a really sick low profile glove liner. i switch between those and the liners that came with my Burton mittens and wear whatever glove i'm in the mood for over them.
I've used these for a season and have no complaints so I'd like to 2nd this statement. Granted it was relatively warm when I was out last season so I can't really speak to their warmth in the cold, but my hands were definitely hot with the liner in. If you want to shell out more money the next step up looks like the Titan Glove which Goretex material.
I have the Dakine Element Mittens. Great mittens and definitely warm. My only knock on them would be that if it's super stormy and cold, and you take off the main mitten and let it hang for a few, it will freeze. It doesn't take a whole lot to get it to unfreeze, just put it on and ride and it will be fine shortly, but it's a bit of a pain to do anything besides ride while it's frozen. Sorry about the size, I can't make it any smaller while on my work computer. They look like this--
