Watch the videos on this site and you won't need pads. Stop leaning over.

"I'm so good I don't fall"... That or you stick to the bunny hill.

Anyway, don't get the Protec IPS then. I had the same thoughts when I got them - I don't need hip padding, I've only ever landed on my hips once. But I assume the lack of cheek padding is because that's where the body's natural padding is and they can keep the pants profile lower by excluding those zones.

Check out these though, they are the closest I have seen. Demon Snow Flex-Force X D3o Short Body Armor - Men's | Backcountry.com

This is my first season riding and i was in the same situation as you. I was debating between azzpadz and skeletools after researching on here and ended up with skeletools since azzpadz only has tailbone protection. They been great so far, and low profile even though the picture shows it looking bulky. impact shorts, crash pad, hip protector, skele-shorts

Didn't mean to sound like a dick, but the videos and snowolf post are pretty damn helpful. If I lean over the edge and the edge gives I fall over so I ride slower and try not to lean over as much. I still fall.
