Default Anyone here use a Goof board? I want to get a balance board.

I was thinking of getting a balance board to work on my core / balance. I'm starting to learn how to surf as well and it seems like this will be good for both considering how the rod is placed compared to other balance boards.

Wondering if anyone on here uses it and can comment on their experience?

I use the Extreme Balance Board. But I only snowboard so it's more appropriate.

Definitely works balance and core, though.

Hmm. That looks interesting. I may end up getting that instead but I'm having a hard time finding the manufacturer's page

Did you try others before deciding on getting the Extreme board?

No, they had this board in the gym at work. Started using it and liked it.

I'd bet that any kind of balance practice would do you good -- your board, my board, or slacklining.

Yeah, I think I like yours more since it has more control. Going to give it a shot. Thanks!

I've got a Vew-do board and a slackline. Both are fun. I can "feel the burn", way more on the slackline.

One of the shops here have an old 40" longboard deck and a 2 liter pepsi bottle filled with water and covered in duct tape. Works just like an indo board for a very minimal investment.

I have a varnished piece of 3/4 inch plywood and different size PVC pipes for a left to right balancing board, also a round piece of 3/4 with a PVC dome cap on the bottom for a tilting balance board. There is probably $20 invested in my stuff and it actually looks pretty nice, works great.
