Gopro settings

This year, I bought a GoPro Hero 3 Silver Edition. This upcoming season will be my first time using one snowboarding, and I was wondering what settings people use for the best results. What Field of View, Frames per Second, and Resolution.?

Thanks!

I'd leave it on wide FOV, 30 fps and 1080p. If you have a powerful computer and plan to edit the clips using premiere or whatever the 2.7k looks pretty damn good and allows you to use smaller parts of the frame and still get 1080 output, so you have more flexibility. If you're mostly using it for fun though I'd leave it on 1080 or even 720p to save space on the card.

stock... 1080p 30fps, wide fov

if you are in horrible light, then turn on Protune with white balance to CAM RAW

that way you can salvage your footage in Cineform
