Default Just Moved to Steamboat! Gear Advise.

Hey guys, I just recently moved to Steamboat Springs, CO from southern Cali and need some gear advise. Since everyday at Mt. High is a spring day, I don't really have too much warm gear and don't exactly know what to get.

Am I going to need 20K waterproofing on all my stuff, or is my new airblaster ninja suit and 10K jacket/pants going to be good?

Feel free to throw out any other advise you guys have for me!

It's CO the snow is light, it's dry, and not wet. You can get away with a 5k rated stuff up there.

Best advice go up to the base area to Powder Tools. Talk to Bernie, Jake, and the boys they'll get you set up.

Heard there's quite a few shops up there for any gear you may need.

I'm moving to Steamboat in the beginning of January to go to the college there!
You'll see me downtown tipping back a few

Move south to Summit County if you want a longer season with a cheaper pass. Steamboats fun for a season or two then you realize you want variety.
