I am clearly too good to you MPD..... despite the time you claim to spend on boats, you can't fish for shit. so here you go:
just one item, filled with key words for continued research. enjoy
Quote:
Al-Qaeda in Iraq have reacted to the US presidential election by issuing a statement on Friday directed at President-elect Barack Obama and his incoming administration.
The 22-minute audiotape was posted on several jihadist internet websites and includes an audio message from Abu Umar al-Baghdadi, the pseudonym adopted by the leader of the Islamic State of Iraq, al-Qaeda's affiliate in Iraq.
The US military said on Friday that al-Baghdadi was "an actor who provided a voice for al-Qaeda's propaganda".
The statement issued in his name calls on the incoming US administration and allied Western leaders to embrace Islam, withdraw troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, and release Muslim prisoners from there and from Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.
Compared to previous statements issued by the group this one is relatively mild, imploring America to return to what it calls "impartiality" and even offering not to disrupt Western oil supplies if its conditions are met.
"We promise that we will not stop the trading of oil or other commodities with you, provided that justice is achieved," the audio message said.

Yeah, America is great! How's that deficit working out? Economy good? No homeless or illiterate in the good ol' US of A. Must be great having the military industrial complex running your country. You sure are free! You've killed millions around the world in only a few short decades, yeah hold your head up high buddy!
You make it too easy Kirkwood, now let the grownups talk.

Considering I broke about 13 bones growing up and there is no way my mom could have afforded health insurance being a single mother, pretty good actually. At least our system doesn't backrupt you if you have a heart attack, not to mention I'm sure that all those people that had their homes foreclosed will now have disposable income in case they have health issues. IF that happened in Canada, I'm covered.
Like I said, let the adults talk, go have your nap time.

I will say this. If u were in America as a young child and your mom being single had difficulty paying for H.I(which is common), You actually would be covered under the child health plus law and she could go into any walk in clinic or medical center and get treated at a reduced rate. Additionally we are acustom to H.I and over all these years, programs have been implemented to help the situation that you and your mom could fall into here in the states. The Insurance Companies do help fund these programs along with the Doctors who support the programs with their treatments.
Private Medecine does have its advantages. There is enough money to support these programs. U have to qualify mind u...but they are truly available.

Yet those cases are the exception not the rule. Seriously, people go bankrupt every day over health care costs and the insurance companies work harder at denying claims than they do at covering their paying customers. In the last 5 years health insurance premiums have doubled while coverage has dropped. This is a broken system and while you personally may not have had any negative encounters with it, millions of Americans do. Facts simply do not bear out your Rosy picture of private, for profit health care. I suppose it goes without saying that you have refused to watch Sicko? The heartbreaking situations depicted in the movie are reality for millions of Americans.
It is long past time to junk this corrupt Capitalist health care system in favor of Single Payer that actually serves the people, not fat cat insurance executives and their stock holders. A human being`s health is not something that should be based on profit; this system is immoral and needs to be abolished.
