oh dear.
once upon a time a bunch of people were dealt with horrific genocide. those people who survived were provided with a new settlement land and everything needed to prosper. sadly this settlement caused some resentment from those who were forced to be displaced by these new arrivals. certain frictions arose and conflict followed when grievances weren't entertained. and so it continued. not wishing to admit wrong doing in the relocation of the locals, the new comers were provided with all the arms and training available to create the strongest ever military force on a per capita basis. confronted by such military might, the displaced were repeatedly massacred. but rather than being conquered, the deaths of family and friends merely fuelled ever more violence. suddenly the number 911 came to prominence and the world was reminded of the folly of waging war. with it came a thirst for peaceful negotiation and diplomatic method. those people displaced and massacred were compelled to engage in a democratic process. their fledgling democracy secured for them a group of leaders called hamas. sadly many people outside of the displaced people's country did not like these elected people and made up reasons to ignore them and thus render the diplomatic process of the displaced 'irrelevent'. to punish those who made this error of political judgement, by supporting those people other more powerful regimes do not like, airstrike and ground forces have been blowing the broken bodies of innocent civilians apart, whilst the western world is more concerned with gifts, eating and boozing. it is state lead terrorism.... plain and simple. and it is rightfully condemned. i suggest a global boycott of all israeli products.

Spot on assessment Paolo!
The irony is that while blowing up civilians left and right, the IDF just cements further rocket attacks in the future as the loved ones left behind exercise their anger and revenge. On a side note, I can hardly believe the audacity of the IDF to claim there isn't a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. WTF, there was a crisis there before the IDFs recent invasion given the blockade of the last two years. Humanitarian organizations have reported this over and over. 100% Israeli propaganda!

How dare you criticize Israel, you ust be anti-semitic.
/sarcasm In all reality though, both side share equal blame. Palestinians need to accept Israel's existence, and Israel needs to stop their slow holocaust like genocide of the Palestinians. It sucks that the Palestinians lost their homes, but just accept it and start rebuilding so the next generation has something to look forward to other than the cycle of violence. Israel is not going away. Sometime I think the Arab world thrives on this conflict, it gives them something to distract their population, lest the people turn their attention to the corrupt and disgusting regimes in their own countries. |
