i knew this was about zeitgeist before i even opened it, lol.

i haven't gotten all the way through the addendum, but the 1st film was definitely good...and i agree that people should definitely watch it & ponder the points presented.

I didn't watch all of it, I really kind of just browsed through the WTC video and it was pretty much the same as all the others I have seen. While it does bring to light some things that are very controversial (I am talking mainly about the accounts from people in the video, not the quotes used or things of that nature) how do I actually know this person was an MI-5 British intelligence officer, how do I know this phone call was for real and not staged?

And obviously that can be taken the other way around, how do I know the media is telling the truth, how do I know the government is telling the truth?

These videos are incredibly thought provoking and make for good discussion, with the right type of person of course, but to me it all comes down to the idea that, I am not an expert in everything and not even an expert in one specific thing, so no matter what I have to assume what I am being told is correct or on the other hand complete B.S. and evaluate the source it comes from.

The problem with that is what constitutes a good source? A youtube video? A political official? The media? Its all how you look at things and no matter what you say, you'll never be correct in someones eyes and your source will never be good enough.

I just realized I typed all that and it really didn't say much at all, but basically my opinion on things is that I live better than 80% of the world thanks to people who lived before me in this country under our government and I am sure during those times things seemed controversial and conspiracy theories were everpresent, the difference today being the advances in technology allow the actions that spur those conspiracy theories to be more dramatic and more lethal. All I can do is just live my own life and roll with the punches and hope things that are out of my hands are handled with the best interests for as many people as possible. (Not to say that I think it is okay for other people to die in order for others to live better, that is just how things happen, it is unfortunate and out of our control for the most part)

We all, no matter how much we disagree with our government or those in it, have to be grateful because right now we are all posting on an internet forum, allowed to say whatever we like to a certain degree, about a sport that we put hundreds if not thousands of dollars into to allow us to go down a mountain (or hill in some cases) and enjoy ourselves whenever we would like.

i have always disliked the government and their ways of controlling what we do. now in canada they have a law if u are pulled over for doing 60km over the speed limit or w/e ur licenced is suspended huge fine and so on.... whats the point of owning a nice car and you can have fun with it. its bull!

ya but see... my routes are from advertising and design so i have an understanding of what is being done somewhat.

about the internet... its free for now... who says that it may not be governed in the futrue (i believe in some countries it is)

oh and whats up with the car industry.... this bailouts bull.... i know that their big. ever heard of feeding the monster? ford pulled out... why? new management. todays car industrys are about making money instead of making a car that has a soul...

Well for the most part, a lot of those cars that can really fly are from companies overseas, I know this is generalizing but just using European cars for example that people drive over here, Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, Mercedes for example (those last two being the biggest I think) are from countries that have things like the autobahn where there is no speed limit. So its really buying items that go really really fast, but not being in the right place.

And with the internet that was the point I was making, we are allowed to say what we want, unlike a place like North Korea where, unless I'm mistaken and things have changed, is heavily monitored and censored, we can at least get information from sources outside our own country.

And while I don't pretend to even have an incredible grasp on the auto bailout subject I do agree that a bailout is not the answer personally.

you forgot vdubs, audi and porsche. oh boy do i love being on the autobahn i was in germany a few years back... now i just need to get a car of my own on that road ^^. correct me if im wrong but isnt the ford fiesta a good little eco car? fords over here are nowhere close to as nice as the ones in europe.

i dont know where ur from exactly but what about the UK and all their cameras and crap... i see this stuff happen every now and then... they say its for safety for crashes and what not... i say its authoritarianism.... speaking of which theres peeps in this world that want that...

did it occur to you about the bailout, how sketchy it is... gm asks for money but they dont have any plans for it... why???? because i belive that they want the money for themselves and they dont want to reach in their pockets. which isnt what being selfemployed is all about.

what a nice lot of banter..... so many topics being touched on.... it comes across as the best form of ADD i have ever witnessed.

Zeitgeist.... a tip top movie and one that brings together every that nullifies religious doctrine. i am not saying there is no god; there might be. its not likely, but it is possible. but what is certain, that if a god exists, he has no role nor approval of what passes for religion in this day and age.

the WTC attacks.... conspiracies etc..... to suggest an inside job is to suggest aliens did it with disguised UFOs. it happened as it happened. did authorities who's job it is to defend against it have a half a clue beforehand? possibly. was the aftermathe: wars in the mid east, homeland security acts etc what had been desired for a long time? defo.

do germans make the fastest cars? no. the swedes and british do!

who in this world can you believe over most / all other people? an easy question. those you can trust are those who openly invite the questioning and scrutiny of their words and actions.

examples for comparison:
Zeitgeist - has a fully referenced list of resources. if you doubt their words, go check their source and their source's source and their source's source's source.

Those who sanctioned the Irak war or were asked for a full public enquiry into 9-11 - tell us "no go whistle."

nuff said to my mind.
