10 Ways to Kill a CEO
So I've heard that there is a big concern among the CEOs who screwed the nation and helped put us in this bad position. Everyone has seen Obama speaking out against AIG, who recently gave a large chunk of their bailout money as bonuses to the execs that caused all their problems.
Well, the rationale for this, and can I just say I find this staggering, is that the people who got us into this mess did so in such a complicated and intricate way that they are the only ones who can get us out. Because of that, they are asking for more money to undo what they did. I'm pretty sure Saturn doesn't actually have any moons, those are just the balls of bank CEOs. Amazing.
Well, since the Bernie Madoffwithyourmoney thing went down, people are more than just a little outraged about getting swindled. And there are a lot of crazy people out there who got swindled. Apparently, people are making death threats to the CEOs and their families. There is some hesitation to release their names to the public for fear that their lives will be endangered. Can I just be the first person here to play my tiny violin?
Maybe it is time that people who are in the top 1% of money makers start to feel a little concern that their unethical methods of hording money and bringing poverty to thousands of Americans might actually have repercussions. It seems as if they do whatever they can to make money without any concerns about the rest of the world. I think they need to learn that they are not untouchable just because they are rich. I don't feel bad that they fear for their lives. While I don't personally want to see any of them murdered, I get a great satisfaction from them sweating and trembling in front of a panel while someone reads a random note about strangling bank managers with piano wire.
Do you think they should have their names released? I like the idea of teaching them a lesson, but if people start killing CEOs, it could make things worse than they already are...
