You didn't hear Bush profusely and almost gushingly apologize for his war crimes? You didn't hear Cheney apologize for his part in the Enron scandal and for shooting a guy in the face. They also go together to say they were sorry their party dragged us down into the bowels of a recession and left us with a legacy of war that will be unrivaled for generations to come.

Then I woke up.

I never know what that guy is talking about. Nobody else does either. As long as they keep him head of the RNC, I feel pretty good about the left's chances.

Thank god all that pansy-assed apologizing is over! I like my republicans strong, self-confident, arrogant, self-righteous and unselfconsciously stupid...that way I don't confuse them with someone I want running the country.

See, now I like my republicans blindfolded, gagged, and handcuffed to a chair.... But that's just the women

I like my Republicans to be borderline sociopaths who blast inflammatory speeches about the Christian foundation of our country while they stand next to their knocked-up 16 year old daughter. And I like them to be supported by flannel-wearing ex-con rednecks in 60's pickups with a gun rack in the front seat and a Jesus fish on the bumper.

If they start apologizing, I'm going to get disillusioned about who they really are.

Blame Palin.

Actually, that would make a good bumper sticker.
