Great. Now I'm depressed.

And while I may not have been around for most of the other bubbles, this upcoming cap and trade has me completely baffled. I don't know why we should turn it into a market where the average person stands to gain nothing and lose everything. Big businesses have so much power that they can even resist government regulation, yet that just means they have more freedom to screw people like me, who have relatively nothing.

I guess this is the danger of a free market. It's just sad that "We the people" seem to have our hands tied behind our backs because banking greed has so much more influence and power. And if there is an end to this sort of thing, I certainly don't see it.

Funny, I thought we were already there. Heh.

Truth, and it's been said before. Maybe now with the very high hopes that have been set for this particular president, people will begin to realize....nah, they won't. Pity.

Very true, i completely agree with the article and strongly feel government is in the hands of the big corporates, they can come up with anything and get the approval. Thanks
