Default Opinions on libertarians

So there are several flavors of libertarians it seems, but what I'm looking for is opinions on the ron paul and more extreme libertarians. I honestly think they're delusional, but what do you guys think?

I'm immediately skeptical of anyone who thinks the "free market" can fix any economic injustice. Ron Paul is funny, and has had a couple ideas that are intriguing but for the most part he's a loony.

Libertarianism is just Anarchy for the Rich,

That being said as a Political ideology I do indeed subscribe to it. In theory it sounds great, no Government interfering with your lives, allowing you to be your own man making your own decisions. But in reality it wouldn't go so well without someone to provide fire protection and pave our roads.

I'm kind of suprised to find people that agree with me here, typically these types of forums are full of libertarians.

If you guys haven't ever seen it, the best example of the crazy libertarians is the floating off shore cities they want to create. frickin insane.

Default Oh Ron PAUL!!!

Ron Paul is a quack! Seriously, I completely agree with what you are saying that these Libertarians have this Darwinistic ideology that no government is the best way to rule. Only the strong survive for that matter. Actually, if there were no government then only the strong would survive as anarchy would surely ensue. I personally think that no government would be great in theory, but you are banking on the honesty of mankind. hahaha how fallible is that? Truthfully, if we just strive to better ourselves and the people around us then the passion is sure to rub off. That is actually what me and m buddy are trying to do with these snowboarding trips. I just hope it works as we are in need of what Obama so eloquently says, "Change."

Anyone that honestly still believes the gold standard is even an option, much less a great idea, is stupid or crazy.
