Conservative views

Government should stay out of everyone's lives. Period, end of story.

The only thing the government should really have control over is the military, in that they need to protect this country, it's people, and the constitution.

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

WE THE PEOPLE need to PROVIDE FOR THE COMMON DEFENSE.

WE THE PEOPLE do not need to BUY CONGRESS PLANES.

WE THE PEOPLE do not need to PAY FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S HEALTHCARE.
In PROMOTING THE GENERAL WELFARE, we act as a people, not forced as a socialist country, to help our neighbors.

I like this post. I think that private health care is great. We as americans have the best healthcare in the world.

The problem (among many) with your ideas here, Nightmare, is that a military can't be efficient or effective if it is filled with the overweight, diabetic populous that this country is breeding. We barely find enough men and women to serve as it is. The FACT of the matter is we have one of the worst health care systems in the world among First World countries. As Americans, people have pride in saying that they live in "the best nation in the world" but most don't even look across the river to see if that's actually true; they just assume (don't think I need to clue you in on the pitfalls of assuming). This barely scratches the surface as far as things I want to say but I'm at work and would rather keep this short anyways.

I think the nightmare is right. We should get rid of all of our stupid socialist programs. Fire, police, education, justice systems all need to be pay per person as you go. I am tired of paying for things I don't use. Sounds like a great idea doesn't it?
