Default Racism.

Racism these days is no better of an excuse then telling your teacher your dog ate your home work, but it is still the number one excuse used by almost all black people these days.

"oh the black people are oppressed and live a hard life"

BULL SHIT.

I am tired of all these minorities pulling the race card in the 21st century. If anything, minorities are more racist then white people are! I cannot count how many times i have been called "cracker" or "white boy."I have never ever called a black person a nigger, EVER. And i find cracker just as offensive as calling a black person a nigger. At work when talking to another co-worker, i said i didn't like to listen rap music that much, and she proceeded to call me racist, and that i only dont like it because of the skin color of the people singing it. Yes, she was black. I do not care for racism, and will not stand up for it by any person, no matter how "oppressed" their people maybe, that goes for people of all color. Nothing is gained from it, and minorities should stop using it because it only makes them a victim of their own demise.

And yes i said black people. If we are going to start calling black people African Americans, every one should damn be calling me European American and not fucking white or Caucasian. Oh and mexico is a country, not a race of people. I can hate mexicans just as much as i hate the french. No difference.

Go ahead guys, have at it. I was wrong to lock this. Just try to keep the "I hate " talk to a minimum and lets try to refrain from singling racial groups out.

If one were to hate all races equally, what does that make him? Does it still make one a racist if they hate everyone?

I'm going to tread lightly here as I attempt to walk through this sociological mine field. At the end of the day racism is in the eye of the beholder. What is offensive to some, is completely fine to others. I am a white anglo-saxon male, or as I like to say, "I'm a white guy". I will agree there are not a lot of slurs for my specific ethnicity, however if you were to call me a "cracker", I don't think it would really affect me all that much. Actually, I know for a fact it wouldn't.

However, many other races have numerous slanderous names that remind them of a horrible place in time. A time when they had no rights, no freedom, and no voice. The more an individual is affected by these past events (whether it be 300 years ago or 3 years ago doesn't matter), the more they will be affected by the comments. And these individuals have every right to be enraged by these slanderous comments that serve no purpose other to insult and degrade. For someone to say, "there is no racisim anymore, they are just using it for personal gain" is complete Bullshit. As long as you are making a crass generalization about a person's ethnicity, you are being racist. You can't say whether or not they have the right to be offended because you haven't experienced what they they have.

My issue is with both our over politically correct sensitive society and the ignorant narrow minded selfserving douche bags that inhabit it. I wouldn't say I'm hardcore right or left, I'm wedged comfortably in the center. And I see a lot of shit from the sidelines. I disagree with saying "happy hoildays" instead of "marry christmas". If I were to walk into a supermarket and the checkout girl wished me a "Happy Kwanzaa", I wouldn't be offended because it's "not my religious belief". I would thank her and say same to you, because I am a rational person who can appreciate the gesture. My problem is with people who are offended by the slightest thing not because they find it offensive, but because they think there's a possibility that someone else might find it hurtful so they are offended on that absent person's bahalf.

At the end of the day everyone just has to use their head. What the F*ck ever happened to common sense?

Nope, just a narrow minded, ignorant, individual, who isn't contributing anything productive to the moral fabric society. Everyone has the right to be stupid. You Sir, however, are abusing the shit out of it

In the South it still resides. Where I currently reside 10 miles from my house you can still find bars with white men only signs. It is completely sad but it still happens. Generally it is the older people in the south that still has strong racial tensions. Even in College Football one can find racisim strong especially if a non-white player messes up.

It is so stupid to me. But like I said here it is primarily with older people and this problem is slowly going away.

i don't know a person that hasn't told a racial joke at one point in their life. i think there is a little bit of racism in everyone, whether they would like to admit it or not.

Well i'm black OP..... I personally dislike people who pull the race card no matter what the race is. I grew up in the Inner cities of Baltimore and all I heard was "white man this, white man that". I also lived in the county around Whites, Asians etc. I had it better than most people in that department. As you all know, life is about choices, I made good ones and met great people, been around the world two times in my life so far and accomplished many things.

No matter what the race is.. LAZY people like to blame the world and not themselves.

About the rap thing that is just silly. I get it in reverse because I do "White Things" like listen to rock, techno and snowboard lol.
