the nanotech campus in albany is going to add a new wing to the building and plug power is going to put some cash into more research. the first stimulus helped battery technology in cars move forward a few years and that is exiting for a automotive enthusiast such as myself, and also may mean gm will use their "skateboard" frame concept in the near future. i can't complain with innoation!
and the new house owners rebate is why my sister, brother-in-law and twin niece/nephews my sister is expecting in march will have a nice home instead of their apartment. they are closing on their home next friday. and the cash for clunkers almost landed my moms boyfriend in a new suv. next time around i am certain it will! long story short, another stimulus will be a even better to the country in this era-of-almost-good-feelings!

Tony your link just showed us how Bush and republicans have screwed us:
"But there was an underlying economic problem. Income was distributed very unevenly, and the portion going to the wealthiest Americans grew larger as the decade proceeded. This was due largely to two factors: While businesses showed remarkable gains in productivity during the 1920s, workers got a relatively small share of the wealth this produced. At the same time, huge cuts were made in the top income-tax rates." "As a result of these trends, in 1929 the top 0.1 percent of American families had a total income equal to that of the bottom 42 percent. " Interesting... sounds kind of like when all the republitards are complaining about how 40 some percent of the population ends up paying little to no income tax. I wonder why that is... |

Why not just send me a check. I could sure use the money.
And it's in a direct manner so I know I don't have to jump over hurtles, cross into the fourth dimension, make my way out of a maze, and fight a dragon to get the money I need from some government sponsored program.
