Default 21 year evolution experiment

Observations: Evolution details revealed through 21-year E. coli experiment

The Kansas school board has ruled that an alternative uhh... 'theory' must be posited for those of you who don't want to be bothered with the strain of deciding for yourself: http://creationwiki.org/Main_Page

For their next step towards a more intelligent America: Georgia School Board Bans 'Theory Of Math'

And lastly, from my own tour through the creationist museum, we find a sweet god-fearing cave boy feeding a carrot to a rodent while a Velociraptor lurks in the background. It's a picture, so it must be true.

"Those mathematicians are free to believe 3 times 4 equals 12, but that dun [sic] give them the right to force it on our children."

Dear God.....and that is our future generation......

This has got to be a joke, right? What am I missing here?

"Under the new ruling, all math textbooks will carry a disclaimer noting that math is only one of many valid theories of number-manipulation."

Such as? Surely all the people that are up in arms against this "theory" of math can explain an several other alternative methods of logical number manipulation? I'm really starting to get worried about this country. Idiocracy here we come...

Cave boy also seems to have built himself a very well fitted masonry wall. Maybe he used one of these alternative math theories to get the geometry right.

Okay, just needed to make sure. For some reason I thought they reported on real issues too, probably because I've never really bothered to read anything there.

Somehow I still wouldn't put it past some people in this coutry to try to pull something like that though...
