And the CO2 you put into the air when you drive to work? The CO2 produced from making your Big Mac for lunch? The CO2 produced to deliver your snowboard to the shop where you bought it? The CO2 produced to deliver the materials to the snowboard factory so it can be made? The CO2 produced by burning coal to power the plant that made your car, snowboard, and Big Mac? The CO2 put out by the equipment digging up the coal and transporting it to the power plant so it can be burned to make your car, snowboard, and Big Mac? The CO2 produced to haul your old snowboard, old car, and old snowboard away in the trash? The CO2 produced to power the crusher for your car, the CO2 produced to build the landfill that your Big Mac wrapper is going into? Quote:

Its funny to think the big thing in the 70s and 80s was the threat of an ice age. Now global warming. What next.

After your last self-contradictory (albeit, unintentionally fucking hilarious) rant on climate change, I'm just going to hand you an e-cookie, pat you on the head, and move on to worthwhile posts. Because you just. don't. get. it. ![]() Quote:

So you are saying that Obama is now working on getting some nuclear power plants up and running? It is easy to blame Bush, but I don't remember Clinton/Gore doing anything either. You can't always blame Bush for everything.

Acid rain has never occurred naturally on earth except after major volcanic eruptions. Now it occurs daily in places like the Amazon basin.
Yep, just the earth doing it's thing. Suicide, I guess.

Just because obama's not an oil man doesn't mean he's pro nuclear power. The coal and oil industries lobby him just as much as the rest of congress to stop that from happening. It's very un-political to have coal towns out of business. Bad for re-election.

![]() I can't imagine how one does not believe that man is the MAIN reason that Earth is frying like an egg on concrete in the Sahara desert in the middle of July. (just pretend that there is concrete somewhere in the middle of the Sahara desert). I'm even MORE surprised that a fellow skier/snowboarder could somehow think it's just something the Earth does as part of it's natural cycle. Why are not more people in a fetal position knowing that we might have to go to Antarctica (someday in the near future...) to shred? And the money we'd have to waste on the heli (or whatever we need to get there); THEN knowing that the fuel we burn to get there is just melting MORE snow. You're an idiot to believe that humans are not responsible for global warming. You're just plain stupid if you believe it doesn't exist.

The planet is never in jeopardy, we as a species are. The biggest and earliest threat from any climate change is a change that will affect growing food. The world is already over-populated and starving. If there are food shortages, food will only go to the relatively wealthy, with hte poor nations starving to death spreading warfare around to try to survive.
