The same could be said for children then... so no more having kids. And what's worse is those with more kids tend to drive bigger cars, use more heat, more hot water, more lights, more plastic toys, more metal for toys, bigger houses, more clothes, etc... At least dogs and cats don't need lights or heat... or hot water... or cars. People need all that stuff... AND FOOD!!
I guess kids are killing the planet. |

![]() If you don't worry about the impact of man, you're doomed to leave behind a world in crisis for your children. It's selfish, ignorant and completely unacceptable from anyone in a civilized culture. Why people continue to attempt to find ways to say that humans should NOT be careful about how we treat our planet is beyond me. Even if our impact is minimal, what is so unbelievably hard about being considerate to the planet that gave us life? For people looking for a reason to be less environmentally responsible, you get a

Have you told your children you don't give a shit what you do to the planet you'll be leaving them even if this climate change stuff is real? What are their feelings on the prospects of WWIII over vanishing oil, the economic impact of Miami and New Orleans under water, or having 3/4 the snowboarding season you had?

With any of the Earth's problems doesn't the root cause come back to this. How can any discussion of an environmental nature not lead back to overpopulation. Most politicians are afraid to acknowledge it because it would be career suicide. "No ones controlling my body", says the 300lb heifer waddling out of wally world with her litter of 6 in tow. Idiocracy at it's worst. Does anyone else feel anger when you see stick figure stickers on suv/minivans, cartoonishly mocking population self-control, as they join hands half way across the rear fucking window? |

It is still sad when you can see a difference. I went hiking a couple weeks ago for foilage pictures and it was rather funny. I was on land that is park land but on the next mountain over you could tell where they cut. They left the front row of trees and everything past that where trees about 4' high. I found it humorous that they left the front row so it wasnt as noticable.
