Reporter: "Did you know that Sarah Palin supported the bailout."

Clueless supporter: "....I...don't.... where did you here that"

Reporter: "During the campeign John Macain brought everyone to Washington, praised the bailout and Sarah Palin during the debate, the vice-presidential debate, prasied on Macain for bringing folks together to pass the bill and said "it is a time of crisis in government that's the time to step in." So Sarah Palin was FOR the bailout."

Clueless supporter: "I don't think she was. I think if you asked her today shes was not for the bailout."

---------A question later----------

Reporter: "What is it that you most like about her- what policy?"

Clueless supporter: "uh..she upholds the constitution, the document that made this country so great and that's what we need to go back to...blah blah blah blah..."

Reporter: "Specifically?"

Clueless supporter: "um..the government constitution was written so that it could be limited and so that in didn't become out of control and would be in the hand of the people."
...reporter nods and moves on to the next person.

People like this make me ashamed to be an American.

I have some friends in a little town where they can see Russia from their house, and they tell me that the only thing the news ever talks about is Sarah Palin this, Sarah Palin that.

Oh sweet mother of politics am I glad I care about snowboarding more than idiots like that.

I'm pretty sure that you could do the same thing to a group of Dems, especially if they were at a liberal personality's book signing. It's sad to say but I think the vast majority don't get the issues.

I think your going to find this kind of ignorance at ANY politician's book rally. Most likely because the people that go to them tend to be fans or followers.

For chrissake. Just laugh at idiots for being idiots instead of getting all butt sore that it was a Republitard being stupid this time. Google 'interviews clueless Obama supporter' and post the Howard Stern (as respected and professional a journalist as he is) link instead of getting your panties in a knot. Better yet, make it equivalent and get yourself a link from an actual news source picking a random Obama supporter out of a crowd at his book signing - as was done with the original link I gave. We can all have a good laugh and you guys won't even soil your tampons.

But I suppose we can turn this into another humorless political debate. Why not? We don't do that enough around here.

I don't argue, but ask yourself what the ratio of analytical people to blithering idiots would be at their respective book signing?

The bottom line is Sarah palin represents the exact same thing Barrack Obama represents....Popularity!
EDIT: Uhh... yeah, that's how you go about getting elected last I checked. They're politicians, it's their job to be popular enough get to elected. So sue them.

If they represented the same thing, they'd be in the same party.

Obama at least represents some measure of intelligence, a pleasant change from the last prez, and a rescue from Palinism among all the other things you maintain. He's not perfect, and he's not doing as well as he'd promised (name one politician that has), but it could be worse, he COULD be Palin. Or Bush. Or McSame.

Palin represents intolerance, imperialism, unconstitutionally merging religious beliefs with politics, setting the country back 50 years, and mocking that which she doesn't understand (which is quite a bit).

Yeah.. out of the spotlight. Is that what you call it when you've heard about her and/or her family every two weeks for the last 15 months?
