Last weekend was beautiful. Drove up Boulder Mtn in the 50 degree sunshine. Bunch of crazy tight pantsies were biking up it! (I use 'tight pantsies' loosely cause anyone that can bike up that mountain could probably kick my ass).

Are you talking about Flagstaff mountain in Boulder? Kind of sounds like it. I can't think of a Boulde Mountain, not to say one doesn't exist around here...

Yes. It was Flagstaff Mountain Rd. I was cruising around Boulder checking out the area and saw Boulder Mountain Park on the Google Map.... didn't zoom in far enough.

PS: You Coloradians don't believe in guard rails, ey?

I've been thinking about a move out west in the next couple years provided y'all upgrade your oxygen systems.....i think it broke.

Good Bouldering on Flagstaff too.

Guard rails are for pansy's. Really if you think Flagstaff needs them, you should try driving over Red Mountain Pass some day. That will leave you gripped...

There were a lot of big ice patches and sand all over. I envisioned that altima skidding out and drifting over the edge.

I'd love to get my Ninja up there!

This is a tragedy by far. Its not the first natural disaster and it wont be the last. Alot of lives get lost. I view it as natures way of population control. What we as mankind do is our own destitute. Example all these buildings that just topple down...If we were not so advanced in our society, we wouldnt have buildings and hense not as many total deaths in a catastrophic event such as this...or the sunami, or past hurricanes etc...

From the first two paragraphs I think its safe to say I take these things serious. Will I say prayers for the people...of course, will I donate...on my local level.

NOW the fun part.....

Unfortunately there are some in life who takes things very very serious...even on the internet. You cannot joke with those people. they get offended easily and ultimately in their real lives....are VERY insecure!

As serious as I take the situation in Haiti when I read the thread and read this...

That fucking made me laugh hysterically! Hang me for it I dont fucking care its funny!!!

Maybe because I am an older guy and have been thru that tunnel of life's disappointments and successes I find it humerous. I realize these things will happen again and again and again. Its sad yes but it doesnt end the world nor does it guarantee it wont happen again.

For those who did get offended...dont be because if you get offended over that....you have along way to go in life before you realize what really is and isnt bad...
Well said.

Speaking of burritos and Boulder......

That place Zolo Grille on Arapahoe Ave..... awesome food there. Best salsa I've ever had!

You're from NY. There are probably two dozen places in Boulder that would have the best salsa you've ever had!

Seriously, good salsa and Mexican food in general is pretty easy to find in these parts. Conversely, the worst salsa and Mexican food I ever had was in Kingston NY in the downtown area by the Hudson. It looked good, but oh my gawd was it awful...

Ha, good point! We also took your advice and checked out Red Mountain Grill in Dillon. I was more interested in the Dam Brewery, but it was packed. Great pizza there.

Yeah, Red Mountain gets my biz more often than naught because I can get a table there. Next time you are out we'll have to meet up.
