Default Scott Brown: Likely to win massachusetts

Thoughts? Seems likely he might win tomorrow, which will probably put an end to Obama and his health care plan. What will Obama do next? More importantly what will the Democrats do next? They are losing states (if all goes well tomorrow) that have been under Democrat control for over 50 years!!!

Happens every time. One party gets control of all three rings. They then proceed to fuck everything up with grandiose ideas. The 'Pubs did it in the George W Bush days, and the Dems' are now doing it in the Obama days. I am normally Liberal by nature but I am hoping the Republican candidate wins and effectively kills this health care plan. I want a socialized system, but this one is just going to make the very groups who need to be swept aside a lot of money and cost us a lot more. No thank you.

I will say that it's a good thing Obama brought this issue to the fore front and hopefully down the road we might get a plan that makes sense, of which this one doesn't...

The bitch called Curt Schilling a Yankee fan. I hope she loses and then breaks her hip while being violated by a gaggle of rabid squirrels hopped up on viagra and mtn dew.

Also the health care bill is a giant pile of camel cum. When did the health of your citizens become a for profit industry? Make it single payer. Let people but additional insurance for special care and/or money to cover day to day (rent mortgage etc) expenses while in the hospital. Or hell let insurance comapnies create their own hospitals so people who want to be fucked by some soulless corporate goon still can be.

Everybody wins!

Except Coakley. Fuck her

Just evens out the ass-raping the conservatives took in '08.

When 70% of the American people favor Single Payer or at least a robust public option and he turns his back and sucks Republican cock in the Senate for the last year, you are seeing the anger and disgust showing here.

What Tony and others don`t get is this is`nt a referendum on liberal ideals, it is a collective raising of the middle finger to Democrats in congress and a President who have sold out to big Republican corporate lobbying.
middle finger or not, dems are "starting" to loose ground in states they have always held. And i don't think Republicans are not the only party backing big corporation. The dems support the biggest corporation in the world, the GOVERNMENT. They will do anything to give it as much power and money as they can.

Default reality groans

Reality is the people who are here have a vested interest in snow and wildlife...even if they don't know it. Obama did more in his first year (never enough) for the environment than any president since Teddy Roosevelt. That's according to the Sierra Club president.

Health care will only pass in increments. I'm sorry...that's not the way I want it but it's true. Pass it. We'll fix it then. No one can ever take it away.

In Japan, I've seen their system firsthand. While it definitely needs work, it's better than ours and it puts Japanese companies in a more competitive position when doing business internationally. With our systems, our companies pay the majority of the cost. That makes their product expensive. We then lose bids. That's real.

The reality of the problem is Capitalism. The multinational, globalist, corporate giants like the World Bank, IMF, the oil industry etc, are the ones pulling the puppet strings of our government. The problem with you and those who think like you is you think that making government smaller is the be all end all solution when in reality it makes the problem far worse. This is because the real power is held in private hands and the smaller you make government the more unrestricted power these Capitalists have.

Yeah Dems and Reps alike are equally guilty and make no mistake I think all of them suck goat balls and why I am a registered Socialist. You`re assigning the blame to wrong entity though. The people are just whores feeding off the lobbying tit and doing the bidding of big business. Your ideas, if implemented is going from the frying pan into the fire. What little regulation we still have is the only reason the dwindling middle class still exists at all. You do away with government regulation as you are so quick to advocate and we go into an almost Feudalistic state without any middle class and the top 5% holding all the wealth and power and the other 95 % reduced to serfdom.

That is the point when 200 million people need to take up arms and overthrow the Capitalists in these corporations. You are so short sighted when you only see the government as the problem and refuse to look at the real power controlling our government. Democratic Socialism as practiced by countries such as Sweden and Norway and Denmark, etc is the only sustainable system. Capitalism feeds off death, destruction and subjugation of people. It will always lead to violent revolution.
Capitalism is what has made this country a world power, while sweden, norway, and denmark are a small foot mark.

Default small footprints

Capitalism made us a world power or was it a pioneering spirit accompanied by unimaginable natural resources?

I'm a modified capitalist myself, along with other small footprint places like...every other major power except the U.S.

Poor Japan, China, Germany, the U.K., Australia, France, etc, etc, etc. They just don't know how unimportant they are...while they loan us capitalists money.

Default more

Capitalism is what you give the other guy.

Bush provided tons of socialist benefits to the companies he supported. He just didn't supply them to anyone else.

He even short-sheeted the military on supplies, medical care, etc. BTW, the military uses socialized medicine. If it's not any good, why use it?
