Thoughts? Seems likely he might win tomorrow, which will probably put an end to Obama and his health care plan. What will Obama do next? More importantly what will the Democrats do next? They are losing states (if all goes well tomorrow) that have been under Democrat control for over 50 years!!!

Happens every time. One party gets control of all three rings. They then proceed to fuck everything up with grandiose ideas. The 'Pubs did it in the George W Bush days, and the Dems' are now doing it in the Obama days. I am normally Liberal by nature but I am hoping the Republican candidate wins and effectively kills this health care plan. I want a socialized system, but this one is just going to make the very groups who need to be swept aside a lot of money and cost us a lot more. No thank you.
I will say that it's a good thing Obama brought this issue to the fore front and hopefully down the road we might get a plan that makes sense, of which this one doesn't... |

The bitch called Curt Schilling a Yankee fan. I hope she loses and then breaks her hip while being violated by a gaggle of rabid squirrels hopped up on viagra and mtn dew.
Also the health care bill is a giant pile of camel cum. When did the health of your citizens become a for profit industry? Make it single payer. Let people but additional insurance for special care and/or money to cover day to day (rent mortgage etc) expenses while in the hospital. Or hell let insurance comapnies create their own hospitals so people who want to be fucked by some soulless corporate goon still can be. Everybody wins! Except Coakley. Fuck her

Reality is the people who are here have a vested interest in snow and wildlife...even if they don't know it. Obama did more in his first year (never enough) for the environment than any president since Teddy Roosevelt. That's according to the Sierra Club president.
Health care will only pass in increments. I'm sorry...that's not the way I want it but it's true. Pass it. We'll fix it then. No one can ever take it away. In Japan, I've seen their system firsthand. While it definitely needs work, it's better than ours and it puts Japanese companies in a more competitive position when doing business internationally. With our systems, our companies pay the majority of the cost. That makes their product expensive. We then lose bids. That's real.

Capitalism made us a world power or was it a pioneering spirit accompanied by unimaginable natural resources?
I'm a modified capitalist myself, along with other small footprint places like...every other major power except the U.S. Poor Japan, China, Germany, the U.K., Australia, France, etc, etc, etc. They just don't know how unimportant they are...while they loan us capitalists money.

Capitalism is what you give the other guy.
Bush provided tons of socialist benefits to the companies he supported. He just didn't supply them to anyone else. He even short-sheeted the military on supplies, medical care, etc. BTW, the military uses socialized medicine. If it's not any good, why use it?
