If this were a group of people that weren't religious, they would be labeled horrible kidnappers. I mean what the fuck were they thinking? "lets go to haiti, take some children, bring them to our church and hold them up in the air 'LOOK WE RESCUED THEM, WE ARE GOOD PEOPLE". Far as I care, these people can sit in their cages in Haiti and rot. Hiding behind god doesn't make this any less of a crime. |

I can't decide if I think they did it with good intentions or not........on one hand I can understand the desire to help the children if your intentions are true....on the other...who knows if their intentions were true....

It seems to me that almost everything religious people do revolves around recruiting more believers. When it comes to the extremists, I never trust anything they do. They prey upon the sick, weak, poor and desperate in order to gain members. It's despicable and sad.
Maybe these missionaries should help rebuild or distribute water instead of prayers. I don't have anything against most religious people, just these extremists who use peoples' misfortune as an opportunity.
