9/11 conspiracy thoughts? - Snowboarding Forum

So i just finished watching another 9/11 conspiracy movie just now and I cant help but think how crazy it would be if the government really did plan all that. Im not some crazy conspiracy theory guy by any means but I just cant help but think how scary that thought is. With all the stuff they show in the videos on how we were lied to it makes me think. I had already watched Loose Change about 3-4 years ago and just forgot about the whole thing but it just seems like theres still no evidence to prove any of it wrong. Just wanted to see what other people think about it....

As for me im not a huge beliver (like the obnoxious conspiracy protesters) but you cant deny that in one way or another we were lied to about some parts of 9/11. I just dont think I'll ever believe the governments versions of what happend because I just get this shady feeling.

I would not be remotely surprised if the bush administration knew something was going to happen. they needed an excuse, and they got one.

They either knew, or were incompetent, or a combination of both. Regardless, it sure helped the Bush administration.

I also watched Loose Change and 9/11 In Plane Sight in 2005/06 and felt the most empty helpless feeling i had ever experienced!
Damn I wish I hadn't seen this thread cause now those bad feelings are coming back

it is my understanding that there were fuel tanks for heat or something of the other in wtc 7 that were ignited by debris and weakened the structure.

Being that I'm from NYC, had 3 fiends die in the WTC during the collapse, 1 fire fighter, was there on the site the day after it happened as part of the SAR let me start by saying that the government is full of the stuff that clogs toilets.

I have a few buddies who are fire fighters that lived that don't believe any of what they reported. From the conspiracy movies what they said about timed explosions, blast patterns, structual integrity they disagree, but hey who are they to go against the government's word. Never mind the absence of the black boxes due to heat but the fact that they found the passport of one of the terrorist pilot blocks away in the ash/rubble.

If the truth ever came out, it was cause complete anarchy. There is no one in the government that would allow the truth to come out, because there will not be a government, at least not as we know it. Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc would be hunted down, either to be publicly hung or face trial. But since Pelosi took any chace of criminal charges off the table, the people will demand blood.

IMHO I think what Snowolf said about the PNAC is only a small part of the truth, the termination of civil liberties another, and the rest the world will never know.

Really would anyone really want to know the whole truth?

Conspiracy theories bother me deeply. Why would anyone purposely immerse themselves in paranoia? We are never going to get the whole truth about anything government related. Of all the people that worked for the Bush Administration, you'd think a lot more of them would come forward with clues to these so-called conspiracies. Wait, let me guess, they were threatened with death.

I'm sorry, but if people came forward about Enron, then people would come forward about the tragedy of 9/11. Shit happens and shit happened on a large scale that day. It's over. There's nothing we can do about that now. The 9/11 conspiracy theories bother me the most. Why? Because I cried the day I saw that happen. I choose to remember those who lost their lives and honor those who saved them. I choose not to remember this tragic day as some paranoid conspiracy theory.

Sorry if I am offensive, but you have to remember that YOU are being offensive with these theories of yours.

Well, Enron to 9/11 is like comparing a kitten to a missle. Two way different animals. Whereas didn't cause anything but a corporation to crumble, the truth of 9/11( again you know as much therest of us does) would cause the US to crumble and if you were part of that conspiracy you just might have been threatened with a whole lot more than death.

Conspiracy theories aside, something is rotten in the hen house with the way it happened and the way it was reported. Even the reporters themselves reported different things until the government stepped in and said "no, this is what happened and how." I choose to believe the firemen who I've know since we went to grade school over the government. And I know they are offended that their friend, partners, and brother died out there and now they have to fight the government to cover the medical benefits for the problems caused after the collapse of the WTC.

I'm not offended, a ton of people who've seen the news have an opinion. I just have a different opinion every time I bike past the hole that is still there.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the government is truthful. I'm nowhere near that ignorant. What I'm trying to say is that it is done. There is nothing you nor I can do about that. What if all of your theories are true? Then what? What will you do then? Will you finally focus your energy towards something more meaningful like remembering the lives instead of the incident?

I'm sorry, the only thing that plays on in my head about 9/11 is watching those people jumping to their dooms and hearing the God awful thuds that followed shortly. Not some damn suspicions of a fucking tower collapsing and the bastard Bush.
