Okay...see this on my blog (with my clever comments) or on the original site.
It's fascinating and incredibly sad. Still, as an old newspaper guy, it's great to see thorough reporting.

none that you will acknowledge because 95% of the media is liberal, and of course they are not going to admit to their own faults as a political party, they are to busy trashing the right.

I work in the media. Ownership of media is conservative, endorsing Bush over Gore and Kerry (among newspapers who endorsed candidates). The source is Editor & Publisher, however they charge for their archives.
Young writers tend to be cynics. They probably do skew left, but most educated folks do. I'm not infering that right wing folks aren't educated at all but more college grads are Democrats than Republicans. Today's faux conservatives are driving intelligent Republicans out of the party. Palin and Huckabee are great examples. Their "you're with me or wrong" style is painful to watch...except I know they help the left more than they help the right. The irony is that I could support a thinking conservative but they never get nominated. A thinking conservative would preserve nature, push alternative energy (for its economic benefit), support individual rights to privacy, and balance the budget. Ironically, that sounds more like Bill Clinton than Mitt Romney.
