The problem is that people see their worth in the possesions they own and the sum in their bank. The gap is due to company directors giving themselves more pay whilst trying to squeeze out costs at the bottom. It's so sad when profit is seen as more important than people's lives.
What really needs to be done is more law to stop exploiting forein work forces. Barely liviable wages, poor conditions, child labour.
What is the point of having millions in the bank? People can live in great luxury with less. Why get sick from over eating when others starve? Of course we can all do our bit to share with those in need whatever position we're in.
